Ride to Cure Diabetes
So my plan was to be in Australia around January. And what better thing to do there than participate in a small bike ride.
So I signed up for the Ride to Cure Diabetes along with my friend Jim Whimpey. So please help me get there by donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Australia (JDRF) in my name.
It’s a 160 km ride through the Barossa Valley down by Adelaide. And it’s kinda hilly. The elevation difference in around 400 meter, or over twice the height of the highest point in Denmark. I will be doing all my training for the ride in Canada after I bought a new bike down there. So hopefully I can find some hills to train in over there.
